Entrust Sigma DS2C duplex Ethernet card printer
The Entrust Sigma DS2C is a Direct-to-Card card printer designed for rapid card issuance and cloud-based workflows. The model is aimed at organizations that need to securely and efficiently personalize ID cards, access badges or other credentials used in corporate, administrative, educational and commercial environments.
The datasheet confirms the dye-sublimation / resin thermal transfer printing technology, dual-sided capability and 300 dpi resolution. The Sigma DS2C offers speeds of up to 225 cards/hour for single-sided color ribbon, up to 140 cards/hour for double-sided color ribbon and up to 880 cards/hour for single-sided monochrome printing. The equipment includes an input hopper for 125 cards, an output hopper for 25 cards and Ethernet connectivity.
