The Entrust Sigma DS2C 525301-014 is a Direct-to-Card card printer designed for rapid card issuance in cloud-based workflows. The duplex configuration allows for double-sided printing, and the model is suitable for personalizing ID cards, access badges, employee cards or other credentials used in companies, institutions, receptions and commercial applications.
The Sigma DS2C range’s data sheet confirms the dye-sublimation / resin thermal transfer printing technology, 300 dpi resolution and Ethernet connectivity. The equipment is equipped with an input hopper for 125 cards and an output hopper for 25 cards, making it suitable for constant issuing processes. The printing speed reaches up to 225 cards/hour with single-sided color ribbon, up to 140 cards/hour double-sided color and up to 880 cards/hour for single-sided monochrome printing.
The Sigma DS2C is presented as a cloud printing solution and is designed for use with Instant ID as a Service.
