The Entrust 525301-001 is a Direct-to-Card card printer from the Sigma DS2 range, in simplex configuration, with a 125-card input hopper. The model is intended for the rapid issuance of identification cards, access badges, employee cards and other credentials used in companies, institutions, receptions, educational establishments and commercial applications.
The Sigma DS2 platform uses dye-sublimation / resin thermal transfer printing technology and offers a resolution of 300 dpi. For this range, the data sheet confirms speeds of up to 225 cards per hour for single-sided color printing and up to 880 cards per hour for single-sided monochrome printing. The standard configuration includes an input hopper for 125 cards, an output hopper for 25 cards and a reject hopper for 10 cards.
The printer is suitable for identification and card personalization processes where clear printing, simple integration and an efficient workflow are required. Standard connectivity is via USB and Ethernet, and the range documentation also confirms support for Instant ID as a Service. In addition, the platform can be expanded with options such as WiFi, magnetic stripe encoding and smart card encoding, depending on the application requirements.
