The Zebra ET401 8″ model ET401EA-301P2B2P-A6 tablet is the “power user” configuration; 8″ with 5G, Wi-Fi 7, 1D/2D SR500 long range scanner and 8GB RAM / 128GB Flash memory. It is aimed at intensive applications in retail, logistics, transportation, warehouses and field services, where you need a compact, yet highly performing and permanently connected terminal.

The ET401 series is the new generation of Zebra enterprise tablets, built on the Qualcomm® Dragonwing™ Q-6690 processor, with AI support, over 42% higher performance compared to the ET40/ET45 and announced support until 2034. The tablets are designed for a lifecycle of up to eight years (4 years availability + 4 years service), significantly reducing the total cost of ownership possession. 

Screen 8″ WUXGA 600 nits – compact, yet highly legible

The 8″ variant uses a WUXGA 1920×1200, 600 nits display, optically “bonded” to the touch panel, which offers better contrast and reduced reflections, both indoors and in bright light. 

The screen is protected by Corning® Gorilla® Glass 5 and benefits from water droplet rejection and anti-fingerprint coating – so it remains clear and easy to read without constant cleaning, even when wet. 

The multi-mode capacitive touchscreen allows work with a finger (with or without gloves) or with conductive stylus, without manual mode switching. AI-touch and advanced sensing maintain accuracy and response time even in rain or difficult weather conditions. 

The dimensions of 212.7 × 134.4 × 11.4 mm and the weight of approximately 480 g make this model very comfortable to use throughout the entire shift.

ÎAt the heart of the hardware is the Qualcomm Dragonwing™ Q-6690 processor (up to 2.0 GHz), designed for enterprise applications, on-device AI and state-of-the-art connectivity generation.

As a WWAN model, the ET401EA-301P2B2P-A6 features a 5G FR1 modem with support for public and private 5G networks, plus extended 4G/3G/2G compatibility, carrier aggregation and dual SIM (nano SIM + eSIM). It is perfect for teams moving between warehouses, stores, logistics platforms and field locations.

On the WLAN side, the tablet offers a Wi-Fi 7 tri-band (2.4 / 5 / 6 GHz), 2×2 MU-MIMO radio, with data rates of up to 5.7 Gbps and support for channels up to 320 MHz. It is Wi-Fi 7/6/6E certified, with support for Voice-Enterprise, Enhanced Open, WPA3, and fast roaming. 

For peripherals, Bluetooth 6.0 Class 1 (Classic + BLE) ensures stable and energy-efficient connections with mobile printers, headsets, additional scanners, and BLE beacons, with advanced BLE Audio, beaconing, and Bluetooth Channel Sounding features. 

SR500 1D/2D long range scanner – for intensive scanning and longer distances

This SKU is equipped with the SR500 1D/2D scanning engine, the top option in the range for scanning intensive:

• scans in all lighting conditions, including bright sunlight; 

• offers longer scanning distance than SE4100 (long range); 

• uses yellow LED aimer with red illumination, easy to follow and comfortable on the eyes, for more precise aiming. 

The SR500 is ideal for: picking, scanning on high shelves, labels on pallets or on the sides of boxes and high-volume scanning operations.
