The Zebra ET401 10″ ET401EB-3V101F2P-A6 tablet is the 5G Value, no integrated scanner variant of the ET401 Enterprise Tablets range – a rugged terminal with a large screen, next-generation 5G + Wi-Fi connectivity, a powerful processor and a slim design, ideal for companies that need maximum visibility, but use external scanners or occasional camera scanning. 

The ET401 series is built for a lifecycle of up to eight years (4 years availability + 4 years service), with improved IP68 protection, Qualcomm® Dragonwing™ Q-6690 processor and intelligent touchscreen with AI functions for precise input even in the rain.

10.1″ WUXGA 600 nits display – generous space for enterprise applications

The 10″ variant uses a WUXGA 1920 × 1200, 600 nits display, optically “bonded” to the touch panel, for reduced reflections and good contrast both indoors and outdoors. 

The screen is protected with Corning® Gorilla® Glass 5, with:

• advanced protection against scratches and shocks;

• water droplet rejection – usable screen even wet;

• Anti-fingerprint coating, which reduces marks and the need for cleaning. 

The multi-mode capacitive touchscreen allows you to work with your finger (with or without gloves) or with a conductive stylus, without having to manually change the working mode. The AI-enabled touchscreen technology and advanced sensing maintain accuracy and response time even in rain or cold environments. 

For the 10″ format, the dimensions are 256.1 × 162.7 × 11.4 mm, weighing approximately 680 g, which offers a good balance between large screen and portability.

Enterprise Performance: Dragonwing Q-6690, 6GB RAM and 64GB Flash

All ET401 models are built on the Qualcomm Dragonwing™ Q-6690 (up to 2.0 GHz) platform, a next-generation processor with support for on-device AI, the fastest wireless connections and integrated RFID at the chipset level. It is three generations newer than the SM6375 in ET40/ET45 and offers a performance boost of over 42%, with announced support until 2034.

Specific configuration for this SKU:

• 6GB LPDDR5 RAM / 64GB UFS 2.2 Flash – Value variant, optimized for cost/performance;

• optionally, the ET401 family also offers 8GB RAM/128GB UFS 3.1 on other SKUs;

• microSD slot up to 2TB – for local databases, logs, media. 

For business users, this means WMS, ERP, CRM, TMS, reporting and video collaboration applications that run smoothly, with enough headroom for software updates for years to come.

Full connectivity: 5G FR1, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6

As a WWAN model, the ET401EB-3V101F2P-A6 includes 5G FR1 radio with support for:

• extended 5G bands (n1, n2, n3, n5, n7, n20, n28, n41, n77, n78, n79 etc.);

• 4G LTE, 3G and 2G for global compatibility;

• Dual SIM/Dual Standby (nano SIM + eSIM);

• channels from 20 to 320 MHz;

• datarates up to 5.7 Gbps in the 6 GHz band;

• certifications Wi-Fi CERTIFIED 7/6/6E, Wi-Fi Enhanced Open, WPA3 Enterprise/Personal, Voice-Enterprise, Wi-Fi QoS Management, etc. 

For peripherals, Bluetooth 6.0 Class 1 (Classic + BLE) provides low-energy connections for mobile printers, headsets, keyboards, mice, external scanners and beacons, with BLE Audio, beaconing and Bluetooth Channel Sounding for more precise positioning. 

No dedicated scanner (No Scan) – perfect îtogether with an external scanner

According to the data sheet, the ET401 offers:

• rear camera scanning from the factory;

• optional, 1D/2D engines SE4100 or SR500 for SKUs with „Scan”. 

The ET401EB-3V101F2P-A6 model is No Scan, which means:

• NO 1D/2D imager dedicated;

• is optimal for environments îwhere you already have Bluetooth/handheld scanners or the scan volume is low;

• you can use the 16MP rear camera with PDAF for occasional scans (via software), as well as for photo documentation (goods, shelves, AWB, damage, etc.). 

The 8MP front camera is ideal for video calls with support teams, supervisors or customers. 

Full-day battery life – 7600 mAh, replaceable battery

For the 10″ format, the ET401 is equipped with a 7600 mAh, 3.91 V (29.71 Wh) Li-Ion Polymer battery, îuser replaceable, designed for a full shift of work with Wi-Fi/5G active and enterprise applications. 

At the range level, the ET401 also offers:

• hot-swappable secondary battery of 3400 mAh, which is used with expansion back – for 24/7 applications; 

• battery-free operation – operation powered directly from an external source via USB-C or bottom/back IO, ideal for kiosks, vehicles or fixed POS stations, completely eliminating the battery and the risk of swelling. 

Îcharging is done via USB-C (USB-PD compatible) or via cradles with pogo contacts. 

IP68 ruggedization, 1.2 m drops and extended temperature

The Zebra ET401 is designed for harsh environments:

• IP68 rating – completely dustproof and protected against temporary immersion in water; 

• multiple drops from 1.2 m on concrete (up to 1.5 m with rugged frame), tested according to MIL-STD-810H; 

• operating temperature -20°C…+50°C and storage -40°C…+70°C; 

• resistance to industrial vibration and ESD up to ±15 kV air / ±8 kV contact. 

Integrated sensors (accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, ambient light sensor) enable automatic orientation, brightness adjustment and applications contextual. 

Android GMS, enterprise security and Zebra DNA™

ET401 runs Android and benefits from LifeGuard™ for Android™, which provides regular security and OS updates, with IT control (when and how to update – Wi-Fi, redes cradles, etc.). 

Security is reinforced by:

• Secure Element and Android Strongbox, which protect against physical attacks and unauthorized access to data; 

• on select ET401 models, HID® security chip for access with card/badge; 

• Identity Guardian and Single Sign-On, for fast authentication (including facial) and unified access to applications.
