The Zebra ET401 tablet in the 10″ ET4010B-001C1B0P-A6 version is the enterprise rugged model designed for intensive use in retail, logistics, warehouses and production. It offers a slim and lightweight design, but with industrial resistance, being the direct successor to the ET40/ET45 series, with added performance, security and lifespan. 

Under the casing is the Qualcomm® Dragonwing™ processor; The next-generation Q-6690 is optimized for modern applications, with over 40% performance increase over the previous generation, supporting cloud applications and AI functions on the device until at least 2034. The 6 GB LPDDR5 RAM and 64 GB UFS 2.2 configuration offers a very good balance between speed, power consumption and total cost of ownership, with the possibility of expanding storage via microSD card up to 2 TB.

10.1″ WUXGA display, readable indoors and outdoors

The 10.1″ model uses a 1920×1200 WUXGA panel, with 600 nits brightness and optical bonding between the display and touchscreen for superior visibility both indoors and outdoors. &inirc;in bright light. Corning® Gorilla® Glass 5 provides increased protection against scratches and impacts, and the anti-fingerprint and water droplet repellency treatment keeps the screen clear, with less cleaning required. 

The touch is multi-mode: users can work with their finger, gloves or conductive stylus, without manually switching working modes. AI touch detection technology improves accuracy and response time, even in difficult conditions, such as rain or very cold environments. 

Performance and autonomy for full shifts

The Dragonwing Q-6690 processor (up to 2.0 GHz) is designed for enterprise tasks – WMS, ERP, POS, route management, photo/video capture and intensive scanning applications. The user-replaceable 7600 mAh Li-Ion battery is optimized for full-day work shifts, and the platform also allows operation without an external battery, useful for fixed mounting in vehicles, kiosks or workstations. 

Zebra guarantees extended model availability (up to 4 years on sale) and an additional 4 years of service, resulting in a total lifecycle of up to 8 years, essential for fleet standardization and reducing migration costs. 

Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6 connectivity – ready for modern networks

The ET4010B-001C1B0P-A6 variant is a Wi-Fi only model, equipped with a tri-band Wi-Fi 7 (2.4 / 5 / 6 GHz) 2×2 MU-MIMO radio, with transfer rates up to 5.7 Gbps and low latencies, Wi-Fi 7/6/6E certified and compatible with enterprise standards (fast 802.11r/k/v roaming, Voice-Enterprise, WPA3, etc.). 

Bluetooth 6.0 provides energy-efficient connections with peripherals (external scanners, headsets, mobile printers), more precise positioning and beaconing functions for indoor location and asset tracking applications. 

Data capture with SE4100 imager 1D/2D

This model integrates the SE4100 1D/2D scanning engine, optimal for low to medium volume standard distance scanning – barcodes on labels, boxes, documents or price tags. SE4100 ensures fast reading of printed or displayed codes, even when they are slightly damaged or poorly printed.

The integrated cameras – 16 MP rear with autofocus and 8 MP front – allow the tablet to be used for photo documentation (goods status, damages, shelves) and video conferences with support or management teams. 

IP68 ruggedization and industrial resistance

ET401 10″ is IP68 certified, which means complete protection against dust and temporary immersion in water. The tablet withstands multiple drops from 1.2 m directly onto concrete and up to 1.5 m with the optional rugged frame, tested according to MIL-STD-810H. AutoID

Working temperature range from -20°C to +50°C and shock tests thermal allow rapid transition from cold environments (cold storage, warehouses) to warm environments (outdoors, loading/unloading) without compromising reliability. 

Android GMS, security and enterprise management

The model runs Android with GMS support, which allows the running of custom enterprise applications and those from the Google ecosystem, &icrc; while LifeGuard™ for Android™ provides regular security updates throughout the &icrc; entire lifecycle. 

Security is completed by Secure Element, Android Strongbox and modern authentication options (including support for Identity Guardian and Single Sign-On at the Zebra DNA ecosystem level), to protect sensitive data and access to applications.
