The Carl Valentin 9029985 reflective label photocell is a special optical sensor for the Pica II and Pica V printers, designed to detect the label edge at an extended distance of up to 70 mm. Mounted above the label web, this photocell allows precise control of the label position in industrial applications.

Due to the design with increased distance from the label edge, the sensor is ideal for special applications – for example labels with transparent windows, atypical shapes or complex graphic design. The photocell is available as an additional option for new machines, being factory-integrated on Pica II/V printers.
