The LVS-9585 is a handheld DPM (Direct Part Mark) barcode verifier that brings advanced illumination options and powerful software functionality. The new auto-detection feature allows users to automatically find DPM symbols in the verifier’s field of view and cycle through illumination settings to find the type of illumination that works best with the specific DPM mark and media. The LVS-9585 can test both DPM components and printed labels to a wide variety of global application standards and offers comprehensive quality analysis and reporting capabilities.

• Inspection:Inspects all nine ISO (ANSI) parameters in linear (1D) codes, plus additional features for defect determination and human-readable validation. The LVS-9585 also verifies 2D codes (including multi-line and matrix codes) and reports all parameters as specified in applicable ISO/IEC and MIL-STD-130N.
• Detailed Reporting:The analysis is color-coded to show exactly where the problem is in the barcode, and sections of the barcode can be analyzed to determine how to fix the problem.
• High Resolution Inspection:High resolution barcode inspection is made possible by the use of a high-resolution 5.0 megapixel camera, which allows for reading and analyzing every two thousandths of an inch (.002″/.05 mm) of the barcode height; this exceeds the minimum ten-scan average required by ISO.
