    Omron LVS-9510 Desktop Verifier

The Omron LVS-9510 Desktop Verifier is the ultimate solution for barcode quality verification, combining advanced technology and ease of use to meet ISO, ANSI, GS1 and UDI standards. It is designed to verify both linear (1D) and two-dimensional (2D) codes, without the need to change equipment. The system automatically detects the symbology and aperture required for code evaluation, identifying and highlighting problem areas efficiently.

The Omron LVS-9510 offers a “seam” functionality, allowing the evaluation of barcodes that are larger than its field of view, thus expanding its analysis capacity. With a variable field of view from 76 mm to over 152 mm, this device can handle a wide range of verification requirements. Its software can be upgraded to include verification of multiple barcodes on a single label, providing a complete solution for any regulated environment, including 21 CFR Part 11 compliance.

The device is certified by GS1 US for the FDA’s UDI requirement, making it an essential tool for medical device manufacturers. It supports 15 languages, with more to come, and provides quality data reporting for auditing purposes. The LVS-95XX series verifiers can inspect all nine ISO/ANSI parameters for linear (1D) codes and report all parameters for 2D codes according to the applicable symbology specification.

Detailed barcode analysis is color-coded to pinpoint the location of problems, and high-resolution inspection is facilitated by a 5.0 megapixel camera, exceeding minimum ISO requirements. The LVS-9510 can verify multiple code types on a single label, including combinations of linear and 2D codes. Additionally, each unit comes equipped with a calibrated, NIST-traceable compliance test card, ensuring the system’s continued accuracy and compliance.

    Omron LVS-9510

    1. Inspection
The LVS-95XX series barcode verifiers inspect all nine ISO/ANSI parameters for linear (1D) codes, have the ability to identify imperfections, and can perform simple human-read validation. The LVS-9510 also verifies 2D codes and reports all parameters according to the applicable symbology specification.
    2. Detailed Analysis
The analysis is color-coded to show exactly where the problem is in the barcode, and sections of the barcode can be analyzed to determine how to resolve the problem. An online help screen assists in the analysis.
    3. High Resolution Inspection
High resolution barcode inspection is made possible by the use of a high resolution 5.0 megapixel camera, which allows reading and analyzing every two thousandth of an inch (.002″/.05 mm) of the barcode height; this exceeds the minimum ten scan average required by ISO.
    4. Numerous Verification Options
Multiple code types can be verified on a label, including any combination of linear, 2D codes (such as Data Matrix, QR Code and Aztec Code) and superimposed linear codes (such as PDF 417, Micro PDF and composite codes) in the field of view.

NIST-Traceable Calibrated Compliance Test Card for EAN/UPC
The LVS-9570 is supplied with a NIST-traceable calibrated compliance test card to ensures that the system is always in compliance with a known calibration standard.

The LVS-9510 was previously known as the Integra 9510 by Label Vision Systems.

The LVS-9510 replaces the LVS Integra 9505.
