Zebra FS42 represents the most advanced generation of fixed industrial scanners, designed for high-volume applications in manufacturing, logistics and distribution. With a robust design and high-performance quad-core processor, the FS42 offers fast and accurate reading of 1D/2D codes, including DPM, even in the most difficult industrial conditions.
The FS42 family is equipped with 2.3 MP and 5 MP monochrome sensors (CMOS, global shutter), Auto-Focus Standard Range (SR) and Wide Angle (WA) liquid lenses, as well as integrated illumination modules (red, white, blue, IR or combined), which ensure reading of codes on any type of surface: metal, plastic, paper or reflective packaging.
Thanks to the Zebra Aurora Focus™ software platform, the FS42 simplifies configuration, operation and monitoring, offering exclusive features such as ImagePerfect+ (multi-frame capture for perfect reads), Golden Image Compare (quality standard visual comparison), ManyCode (simultaneous reading of multiple codes) and PRZM Intelligent Imaging for ultra-fast data capture. In addition, through software licenses, the device can be expanded with Machine Vision and OCR based on Artificial Intelligence functions.
Extended connectivity with dual Ethernet (1 PoE), RS-232, USB-C and support for industrial protocols (EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, Modbus TCP) makes the FS42 perfectly integrated into complex production lines. With IP65 and IP67 certifications, an industrial aluminum housing, and shock and vibration resistance, the FS42 is built to withstand the harshest industrial environments.
