The Evolis Badgy200 is a card printer dedicated to companies, schools, clubs, receptions and organizations that need quick personalization for badges, membership cards, student ID cards or loyalty cards. Designed as a complete entry-level card printer solution, the Badgy200 combines compact dimensions, intuitive operation and affordable costs with very good print quality.
The model prints directly onto PVC cards, single-sided, edge-to-edge, using dye-sublimation / resin thermal transfer technology. The 260 x 300 dpi print resolution and up to 2 million color rendering make it ideal for custom cards with clear text, barcodes, photos and graphics. For users looking for an easy-to-install ID card printer, the Badgy200 is a practical choice, especially thanks to its quick USB integration and included software.
One of the major advantages of the Evolis Badgy200 series is that it comes as a complete package. The box includes the printer, Evolis Badge Studio®+ software, YMCKO color ribbon for 100 prints, 100 blank PVC cards, cleaning card, USB stick for installation, USB cable and power supply. This means that the equipment can be put into operation immediately, without additional costs at the start.
The Badgy200 is designed for small to medium volumes, making it ideal for instant card issuance, individually or in small batches. The printing speed reaches approximately 38 seconds on a YMCKO color card and 11 seconds on a monochrome card. The ribbon is mounted in the cartridge, making it easy to replace, and the system automatically detects it for quick setup. In addition, the printer benefits from ribbon savings when printing monochrome.
