Entrust Sigma DS2 Card Printer with Lamination Module 525301-006
The Entrust 525301-006 is a Direct-to-Card card printer from the Sigma DS2 range, in duplex configuration, with a 125-card input hopper and laminating module. According to the Sigma DS2 LAMINATION datasheet, the platform is designed for issuing high-security identification cards and for applications where printing needs to be complemented by additional protection through lamination.
The model uses dye-sublimation / resin thermal transfer printing technology and offers a resolution of 300 dpi. The data sheet indicates single or dual-sided printing, and for the print and lamination area speeds of up to 200 cards per hour for YMCK on the front with lamination on the front and up to 175 cards per hour for YMCK-K on the front, K on the back and lamination on the front are mentioned. For color printing, the documentation indicates up to 225 cph single-sided and up to 140 cph double-sided.
