KOAMTAC KDC80 is a compact Bluetooth scanner, designed as a successor to the popular KDC200 and optimized for mobile data collection applications. The series is available in two versions, with laser or CCD scanning engine, both dedicated to fast and reliable reading of the main 1D barcodes. Thanks to its small size and weight of only 35 g, the KDC80 is suitable for retail, logistics, warehouse, field and other activities where mobility matters.

One of the important advantages of the KDC80 series is the combination of portability and functionality. The scanner integrates a display and LED indicator for clear scan confirmation, and the 5 MB internal memory can store up to approximately 262,000 barcodes . In addition, the device allows running basic applications directly on the device, which makes it useful in work scenarios where flexibility and operational autonomy are needed.

In terms of connectivity, the KOAMTAC KDC80 offers Bluetooth Low Energy 5.0 for fast and easy data transfer to smartphones, smartwatches, smart glasses and other smart devices. The scanner also features NFC Pairing for easy connection with Android devices, and automatic configuration is supported by Samsung KNOX . Charging is via USB-C , a useful detail for quick integration into modern infrastructures.

The KDC80 series is equipped with a 200 mAh Li-Polymer battery and an advanced power management system that automatically puts the scanner into hibernation when not in use to save power. For software integration, the model comes with KTSync and SDK support for Android, iOS, Mac OS X, Windows, Xamarin and Cordova. The package includes the KDC80 reader, lanyard, USB-C cable and protective boot, so the device is ready for immediate use.
