The Zebra SP72 fixed scanner is a top tool that improves the shopping process with its superior performance and innovative features. It is available in two versions: vertical (SP72-V) and horizontal (SP72-H). Both variants come with impressive features such as PRZM scanning technology, EAS support for loss prevention, versatile configurations for a variety of applications and a hands-free design that saves time at the cash register.
The vertical SP72-V scanner is equipped with a color camera that enables visual applications, while the horizontal SP72-H model comes with alerts for non-decoded events and a choice of rugged glass or DLC coating. Both scanners also support 1D and 2D barcodes and are general-purpose, with no battery required.
With a host of features such as 1D and 2D barcode detection, Digimarc, damaged codes, codes on glass and cellophane packaging, the Zebra SP72-V barcode reader improves the scanning process and streamlines customer time in line. With upward-facing “Good Decode” LED lights, self-checkout assistants can easily confirm a successful scan.
The SP72 scanner is also compatible with Zebra’s DataCapture DNA suite, which offers powerful real-time information management features such as Zebra IoT Connector and Remote Diagnosis. It can be used in retail environments and can be placed on a countertop or mounted on a wall or table, making it an excellent solution for self-checkouts and kiosks.
