Zebra’s MS12XX Series is a compact and durable industrial scanner designed for fixed mounting and automated use. It offers superior scanning capabilities on most 1D barcodes, even those with poor print or low contrast.
The scanner is available in two variants: FZY with fuzzy logic for premium scanning and WA with wide angle for maximum versatility. It is also protected against water and dust according to IP54 standards, making it reliable in harsh conditions.
The MS12XX scanner has a compact and robust housing, with an integrated beeper, mounting holes, LEDs, decoder and several interface options. Its installation is quick and easy, helping to save development time and accelerate product time to market.
The scanner integrates multiple interface protocols, including RS 232, USB and Synapse, and its operation is ensured over a wide temperature range, from -40° to 158°F (-40° to 70°C). The scanner includes a 650 nm visible laser diode light source, with a scan rate of 35 (± 5) scans per second and a scan angle of 42° ± 2°.
For the smoothest possible integration into user applications, the MS12XX Series offers the possibility of programming several parameters, such as laser activation duration, power mode, symbology types or data formatting.
In addition to technical performance, Zebra also offers an optional software development kit (SDK), which allows the creation of applications using Windows® 98, 2000 and XP platforms.
