The Zebra KC401-SCNR-SR0 is an SR500 kiosk scanner for the Zebra KC4x series, including the Zebra KC401. The accessory is configured with a 0° scanning angle, making it suitable for applications where the user presents the code directly in front of the scanning area.

The scanner is ordered separately from the kiosk and complements the Zebra KC401 terminal with fast reading of 1D and 2D codes in self-service flows.

Front reading for quick interactions

The 0° scan angle configuration is recommended when the kiosk is mounted so that the user is holding the card, ticket, tag or phone screen directly in front of them. This orientation helps provide an intuitive experience and reduces scanning time.

The scanner can be used for price and availability checking, loyalty program identification, barcode access, ticket validation, return document scanning and other self-service processes.
