This SKU’s configuration:

• 6GB LPDDR5 RAM – enough for WMS, ERP, CRM, service applications, dashboards and video collaboration; 

• 64GB UFS 2.2 Flash – fast internal storage, optimized for enterprise applications; 

• microSD slot up to 2TB, for logs, media or local databases. 

The result is a tablet that remains fluid and responsive throughout its lifecycle, even after years of updates and expanding application portfolio.

Comprehensive connectivity: 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6

As a WWAN model, the ET401EB-30101B2P-A6 features 5G FR1 + 4G/3G/2G multiband radio, with:

• support for 5G NR Sub-6 (NSA/SA),

• Gigabit LTE-A and LTE/NR Carrier Aggregation,

• Dual SIM / Dual Standby (nano SIM + eSIM). 

On the WLAN side, the tablet uses Wi-Fi 7 tri-band (2.4 / 5 / 6 GHz), 2×2 MU-MIMO radio, with:

• datarates up to 5.7 Gbps in band 6 GHz,

• channels from 20 to 320 MHz,

• certifications Wi-Fi CERTIFIED 7/6/6E, Voice-Enterprise, Enhanced Open, WPA3, etc. 

For peripherals, Bluetooth 6.0 Class 1 (Classic + BLE) provides low-power connections to mobile printers, headsets, keyboards, mice, BLE beacons, etc., with support for BLE Audio, beaconing, and Bluetooth Channel Sounding. 

No dedicated scanner – rear camera scanning for low volumes

This SKU is No Scan – does not include the SE4100 or SR500 1D/2D imager. According to the ET401 specifications, the platform offers:

• rear camera scanning via the rear camera,

• optionally, SE4100 or SR500 engines on other SKUs.

The ET401EB-30101B2P-A6 uses the camera for occasional scans, and for high-volume scanning workflows it is recommended to:

• use an external Bluetooth scanner, or

• choose an ET401 SKU with integrated SE4100/SR500.

Part image quality is provided by:

• 16MP rear camera with Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF) – ideal for documentary photography (goods, shelves, AWB, damage);

• 8MP front camera – for video calls and remote support.

Extended autonomy: 7600 mAh battery, battery-free mode

The 10″ model is equipped with a Li-Ion Polymer 7600 mAh, 3.91 V (29.71 Wh), îuser-replaceable battery, sufficient for a full work shift with Wi-Fi/5G active and intensive applications.

At the ET401 range level are available:

• hot-swappable 3400 mAh secondary battery, used with expansion back – for 24/7 scenarios;

• battery-free operation – direct power from external source via USB-C or bottom/back IO, ideal for fixed mounting in vehicles, kiosks or POS stations, completely eliminating the battery and the risk of swelling.

ÎCharging is done via USB-C (USB-PD compatible) or via cradles with pogo contacts.

IP68 ruggedization and resistance to harsh environments

Zebra ET401 is designed for use in difficult conditions:

• IP68 rating – completely dustproof and protected against temporary immersion in water;

• multiple drops from 1.2 m on concrete (up to 1.5 m with rugged frame), according to MIL-STD-810H;

• operating temperature range -20°C…+50°C and storage -40°C…+70°C, with thermal shock testing;

• industrial vibration and ESD resistance up to ±15 kV air / ±8 kV contact.

Dimensions of 256.1 × 162.7 × 11.4 mm and weight of ~680 g maintains a good balance between large screen and portability.

Android GMS, enterprise security and Zebra DNA™

ET401 runs Android with GMS support, and LifeGuard™ for Android™ offers regular security and OS updates, controllable by IT (update timing, method – Wi-Fi, WAN, cradle).

Security is ensured by:

• Secure Element and Android Strongbox, which protect against physical attacks on hardware and unauthorized access to data;

• select ET401 models with HID® security chip for access with card/badge;

• Identity Guardian and Single Sign-On for fast authentication (including facial) and unified access to applications.

The Zebra DNA™ suite (Workstation Connect, Zebra Pay, Workcloud Sync, Zebra Guardian, etc.) simplifies the enrollment, configuration, management and optimization of the ET401 fleet throughout its lifecycle.
