The Zebra ET401 10″ ET4010B-00101B0P-A6 tablet is the enterprise version for applications where you don’t need a dedicated 1D/2D scanner, but you want a large screen, state-of-the-art connectivity and stable hardware, designed to remain in production for years.

It is part of the ET401 Enterprise Tablets range, the new generation of the well-known ET40/ET45 series: slim design, rugged casing IP68, new processor Qualcomm® Dragonwing™ Q-6690, smarter touchscreen and long battery life.

This specific SKU offers:

• 10.1″ WUXGA 1920×1200, 600 nits screen;

• Tri-band Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0;

• 6GB LPDDR5 RAM / 64GB UFS 2.2 Flash;

• No SE4100/SR500 scanning mode (No Scan), but with 16MP camera for occasional scans based on software;

• Android with GMS and LifeGuard™ for Android™ for long-term security updates.

It is the ideal option for managers, supervisors, visualization applications (dashboards, reports, WMS/ERP), but also for kiosks, POS, fixed workstations where scanning is done with another device or with the camera.

10.1″ WUXGA 600 nits screen – perfect for complex applications

The 10″ model offers a WUXGA 1920×1200, 600 nits display, bright enough for indoors and outdoors, with a “bonded” optical panel to the touch for reduced reflections and better contrast.

The Corning® Gorilla® Glass 5 protects against scratches and cracks, and water droplet rejection and anti-fingerprint coating technologies keep the display clear without constant cleaning.

The touchscreen is multi-mode capacitive – you can work with your finger (with or without gloves) or a conductive stylus, without having to manually switch between modes. AI-touch and advanced sensing maintain accuracy even &inirc;in the rain or &inirc;in cold environments.

Qualcomm Dragonwing™ Q-6690 processor and 6GB RAM – stable performance

ÎAt the heart of the hardware is the next-generation Qualcomm Dragonwing™ Q-6690 processor, up to 2.0 GHz, designed for enterprise applications and on-device AI scenarios. It is three generations newer than the ET40/ET45 processor and brings a performance boost of over 42%, with announced support until 2034.

Configuration of this model:

• 6 GB LPDDR5 RAM, suitable for WMS, ERP, CRM, applications service, management and dashboards;

• 64 GB UFS 2.2 Flash, for applications and local data;

• microSD slot up to 2 TB – useful for logs, media, local databases.

For scenarios where you don’t have a dedicated scanner, but you use many visual applications (maps, planograms, graphic reports), the combination of large screen + 6GB RAM is perfectly balanced.

Modern connectivity: Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6, without 5G modem

Being a Wi-Fi only model, ET4010B-00101B0P-A6 does not have a 5G/4G modem – perfect for equipment that remains within the company perimeter (stores, warehouses, factories, hubs).

On the network side, it offers:

• Wi-Fi 7 tri-band IEEE 802.11 be/ax/ac/n/a/g/b, 2×2 MU-MIMO, with data rates up to 5.7 Gbps on 6 GHz, support for 20-320 MHz channels and Wi-Fi 7/6/6E certifications;

• support for WPA3 Enterprise/Personal, Enhanced Open, Voice-Enterprise, fast roaming 802.11r/k/v and QoS for voice/video applications.

For peripherals, Bluetooth 6.0 (Classic + BLE) provides low-power connections for printers, headsets, keyboards, external readers, BLE tags, etc.

No integrated scanner – 16MP camera for occasional scanning

This SKU is No Scan: it does not have the SE4100 or SR500 scanning module. However, the ET401 has:

• 16MP rear camera with autofocus (PDAF);

• 8MP front camera for video calling and support remote.

This means you can use Android camera scanning apps (for low/occasional volumes), but for high volume scanning workflows it is recommended to use an external Bluetooth scanner or another ET401 SKU with SE4100/SR500.

Battery life and power: 7600 mAh, user-replaceable battery

The 10″ version uses a 7600 mAh, 3.91 V (29.71 Wh) Li-Ion Polymer battery, user-replaceable – enough for a full day of work with active Wi-Fi, applications and multimedia use.

Additional options at the ET401 family level:

• hot-swap secondary battery 3400 mAh, for non-stop operation;

• battery-free operation – direct power from external source via USB-C or bottom/back IO, ideal for kiosks, vehicles or fixed stations (eliminates the risk of battery swelling).

Rugged IP68, 1.2 m drops, extreme temperatures

The ET401 series is designed for harsh environments:

• rating IP68 – completely dustproof and protected against temporary immersion in water;

• multiple drops from 1.2 m onto concrete (up to 1.5 m with rugged frame), according to MIL-STD-810H;

• operating temperature -20°C to +50°C and storage -40°C to +70°C;

• vibration and ESD resistance up to ±15 kV air / ±8 kV contact.

The dimensions of 256.1 × 162.7 × 11.4 mm and the weight of ~680 g offer a good balance between large screen and portability.

Android GMS, enterprise security and Zebra DNA™

The model runs Android with GMS, with security updates delivered via LifeGuard™ for Android™, so you can control when and how you update your fleet, while maintaining compatibility with critical applications.

Security is provided by:

• Secure Element and Android Strongbox, which protect against physical attacks and unauthorized access to data;

• on certain SKUs, HID® security chip for card/badge authentication;

• integration with Identity Guardian and Single Sign-On, for fast login (including facial recognition) and unified access to applications.

The Zebra DNA™ suite provides tools for configuration, management, security and functionality extension (Workstation Connect, Zebra Pay, Workcloud Sync, Zebra Guardian, etc.).
