The LVS-9580 is a high-performance, portable solution for offline barcode verification in accordance with ISO/IEC and MIL-STD-130N standards. Equipped with a high-resolution 5.0 megapixel camera, the LVS-9580 reads and analyzes linear (1D) and two-dimensional (2D) codes with widths up to 76.19 mm and heights up to 57.15 mm. The LVS-9580 verifies multiple barcode types, including any combination of linear, 2D (Data Matrix, QR Code and Aztec Code) and combined linear codes (PDF 417, Micro PDF and Composite Codes). Powered via a 3.0m USB 2.0 cable, the LVS-9580 verifies barcode and direct part mark (DPM) labels on a wide range of surfaces, including corrugated boxes, shipping containers, plastics, composites and metal surfaces.

Detailed Verification and Reporting:

Inspects all nine ISO (ANSI) parameters in linear (1D) codes, plus added features for flaw detection and human readability validation. The LVS-9580 also verifies 2D codes (including multi-line and matrix codes) and reports all parameters according to applicable ISO/IEC and MIL-STD-130N specifications.

Detailed reporting includes color coding to show exactly where the problem is in the barcode, and sections of the barcode can be analyzed to determine how to resolve the problem.

High Resolution Inspection:

High resolution barcode inspection is made possible by the use of a high resolution 5.0 megapixel camera, which allows for the reading and analysis of every two thousandths of an inch (.002″/.05 mm) of the barcode height; this exceeds the minimum average of ten scans required by the ISO standard.
