Newland MT90 Orca (II & Pro) – 5” Android Mobile Terminal with 1D/2D Scanner

Newland MT90 Orca is an “all-touch” terminal with a smartphone design, designed for professional applications in retail, logistics and field operations. The series includes Orca II and Orca Pro, both with 5” screen HD (1280×720), megapixel 1D/2D scanning and IP65 housing, tested to drops of 1.5 m (up to 1.8 m with case). 

What each version brings

• MT90 Orca Pro – for maximum performance: Android 10 with AER, Snapdragon octa-core 1.8 GHz, 4 GB RAM / 64 GB Flash (+ microSD 128 GB), 13 MP camera + 2 MP front and 4500 mAh battery with 6500 mAh option for extended tours. 

• MT90 Orca II – balanced and affordable: Android 8.1 (GMS), quad-core 1.5 GHz, 2 GB RAM / 16 GB Flash (+ microSD 32 GB) and 8 MP camera.

Connectivity and field use

Both models offer 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS/GLONASS (AGPS) and NFC/HF (MIFARE, FeliCa, ISO15693) – ideal for online applications, pairing with peripherals and contactless identification. 

Fast, accurate scanning

The CMOS 1280×800 engine with red laser aimer and LED illumination reads all 1D/2D symbologies, including small or damaged codes. Trigger on the screen, on the side or via pistol-grip for high productivity. 

Autonomy and accessories

The 3.8 V / 4500 mAh battery covers a working day, and for Orca Pro there is 6500 mAh extended battery. The ecosystem includes single/multi-slot cradles, standard, long-range or UHF pistol-grip, ˆbattery chargers, vehicle kit and protections.
