Omron FHV7 Smart Camera – Model FHV7H-M004-S12-IR
Omron FHV7H-M004-S12-IR is an industrial smart camera from the FHV7 series, designed for fast visual inspections and traceability applications on difficult surfaces.
The camera uses a 0.4 MP (640 × 480 px, global shutter) sensor and a standard 12 mm (S12, autofocus) lens, providing a narrow field of view and clearer images for detailed inspections compared to the S06 and S09 models.
The integrated infrared (IR) LED illumination is ideal for reading DPM codes and detecting defects on reflective metal and plastic surfaces. This reduces reflections and highlights engravings or markings invisible under standard white light.
The FHV7H-M004-S12-IR model integrates easily into automated production lines via EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP and PROFINET interfaces, processing images at speeds of up to 60 fps.
