With best-in-class 10-foot drop specifications, the Granit™ XP is designed to continue operating after the impact of drops from loading docks, forklifts, and lift trucks.
A 1-meter (3.3-foot) drop test indicates long-term durability with everyday bumps and drops from the workstation or at waist height. A top-of-the-line 7,000-cycle rating ensures Granit™ scanners will be ready for the long haul.

With FlexRange™ technology, the Granit XR offers an ideal combination of near-field scanning without sacrifice, plus the extended range to read UPCs at 5′ (1.5 m) and 100 mil shelf labels at 33′ (10 m), addressing many warehouse/DC and manufacturing workflows.

Field feedback has shown that the scan window is a high-frequency failure point for industrial scanners. Granit scanners are designed with a small, deeply recessed, scratch- and impact-resistant window to help prevent these failures. This is a critical sealing component, ensuring that dust and moisture do not enter the housing and degrade scanning performance or cause premature failure; the Granit™ solution ensures that its IP67 seal remains intact, even under harsh treatment.
