The AP-PSBIAS-2P3-ATR Power Injector is a single-port, 802.3af-compliant Power-over-Ethernet Hub that combines low-voltage DC with Ethernet data in a single cable that connects to an AP. The Power Injector is the only DC and Ethernet data cable that creates a modified Ethernet cabling environment eliminating the need for separate Ethernet and power cables.

The Power Injector is a small, lightweight unit with an RJ-45 Ethernet cable input connector from the hub on the front right of the unit and an RJ-45 data and power output connector to the AP on the front left of the unit. A 100-240 VAC power input is located on the rear of the unit. A separate power injector is required for each access point that comprises the network.

The Power Injector has the following features:

• Independent power controller, CPU controller, and input (Data) and output (Data + Power) shielded RJ-45 connectors

• Supports standard 10/100 Base-T Ethernet networks via a TIA/EIA-568 Category 5 (or higher) cabling.

• Complies with IEEE 802.3at.

• Universal AC input: 100/240 V, 50/60 Hz

• Maximum continuous port output power of 30W at 55V

• Underload, overload, short circuit, and port under/overvoltage protection

• Single multi-function LED indicator

• Freestanding or wall-mounted installation bracket
